Why we're building this
IQLakes started with a simple, stubborn problem: the tools that help you get things done and the ones that help you get better at things have always lived apart. A task manager doesn't know what you're learning. A course platform doesn't know what's actually due this week. Everyone ends up stitching the two together themselves, badly, or giving up on one of them.
The first real version of this idea was built for one student, managing one degree — upload a syllabus, get the whole term back, and always know what to do next. It worked. It's still the most complete, most proven part of the platform today, and it stays exactly that: the flagship example of the whole idea holding up in daily use.
But the underlying shape — productivity, learning, and growth, working together instead of competing — isn't only a student's problem. It's a working professional's problem, a career changer's problem, and anyone's problem who's ever bookmarked something they meant to learn and never got back to. That's the platform IQLakes is now — the same honest engine, opened up to whoever needs it.
We're building it in the open, in beta, one real use case at a time — not launching a hundred features at once and hoping some of them land. If something feels half-finished, it probably is, and we'd rather you tell us than pretend it isn't.
